Manchester, NH: Eisenberg, Vital & Ryze Advertising (EVR) is helping the New Hampshire Food Bank find ways to fight hunger. On September 29th, Jeff Eisenberg, President of EVR Advertising presented the New Hampshire Food Bank with a $3,000 check for their Community Campaign.
The New Hampshire Food Bank, a program of New Hampshire Catholic Charities, introduced their $4 million campaign in October 2010. Funds raised will benefit their new facility on Industrial Park Drive in Manchester. This dynamic new space enables the Food Bank to keep up with the growing demand of the 400 plus registered agencies in a more efficient and equitable manner. In addition to food distribution, some of the outreach programs offered at the New Hampshire Food Bank include job training, nutrition education and an off-site production garden to grow vegetables for the organization and their agencies. “The New Hampshire Food Bank has a long standing presence in the community. Our team is supportive of this very important project,” said Eisenberg. “We are pleased to do our part to help New Hampshire households in need.” The New Hampshire Food Bank, a program of New Hampshire Catholic Charities, has been working to relieve hunger in the Granite State since 1984. Each year, the organization efficiently procures and distributes over 6 million pounds of food through more than 410 non-profit registered agencies. Agencies include food pantries, neighborhood centers, low-income housing sites, senior nutrition centers, family crisis centers, hospices, soup kitchens, emergency shelters, after school programs, and day care centers.
