Alaina Gonzalez, Account Executive for EVR, recently attended the Ruffalo Noel Levitz’s 2017 National Conference on Student Recruitment, Marketing, and Retention, July 26-28, in Denver, Colo.
The conference featured sessions covering a wide range of enrollment management topics, including student recruitment, campus marketing and staff development. Ruffalo Noel Levitz is a technology-enabled services, software and consulting firm for higher education enrollment management and fundraising.
“We all recognize that with the technology available today, it is important higher education institutions gather the right data from digital campaigns and websites to successfully connect marketing with enrollment,” Gonzalez said. “When institutions gather data effectively, they can begin to optimize campaigns to reach students with the right message at the right time and in the right place.”
Keynote speakers included Diana Nyad, who was the first person to swim from Cuba to Florida without a protective cage, and Dr. Freeman Hrabowski, president of University of Maryland Baltimore County, which is recognized as one of the most innovative research institutions in the country.
